Yeah, but they don't always show up as 1-800, they usually show up as "Unknown". The thing is, I have ppl that call me that also show up as unknown

Anyway, anyone have a link to this?

Awesome, just registered! Now that people are getting put on this list, the people who aren't on the list are getting even more calls

I forgot to mention before, that my dad did something like this about 2 years ago. It was supposed to last for a few years too, but after 6 months the telemarketers started calling again
Before we signed up, the 1-800 number always showed up. After those 6 months, it never did, so we have no idea if it's one of those s or not...

Hope it doens't happen with this one either :p

aye be careful who you try to block! I read some news story about how a woman in EL paso received a threatening letter from a telemarketer she hung up on

thanks for the heads up though !! I definitely dont appreciate being interrupted and then not having "no thankyou" taken as an answer

Can't you just get CallerID, to see who is calling you? If you see 1-800 numbers, that gives you incentive not to pick up the phone... cos it's usually a telemarketer

for us 1-800 numbers are usually charities asking for money and the telemarketers caller ID say :

Unknown Name
Unkown Number

caller ID is fun cause when i know they're calling, i screw with them

i usually just stick to verbally abusing anyone that calls me that i don't want to talk to :conf:
