Doug Jennings Park: The worst event venue in Australia.

Future Entertainment, apparently 100% clueless, continues to hold events such as Summadayze at this absolutely location.

There is no atmosphere at all, I'd get more excited at an rsl on pension day, and the majority of the people that go sit on the grass outside the tents praying it gets better and wondering why in the hell they wasted more than $50.

The only activity you generally do when you attend a dance event here is walking between the tents to see if the grass is greener on the other side, but unfortunately its all brown.

Now I know that they put mats on the ground under the tents, which was a good move to avoid have 2kg of dust being stuck up your nose for the following 2 weeks after the event, and the fact they aren't allowed to hold events at the Tivoli anymore, but for s sake if you want to look after the Queensland audience and want to hold events like this long-term, change ing venues.

Either the Future Entertainment are locked into holding events here because of some sort of contract, have no idea on the differences between a quality event and one that is ruined by poor venue choice or are just the holder of low intelligence, but this venue stinks.

i dont think it's that bad...
both times i've been i've had awesome nights.

the atmosphere at sunset is second to none.

perhaps we all cant enjoy ourselves as much as yourself?

there is loads of room for tents and outside areas where you can find your own space to chill.

however the problem with dust is quite bad [not to mention f**king toilet queues!]

what other venues could host such a large event
[perhaps parklands?]
