Finally got a chance to listen to ASOT 178.. wow! One of Armin's better ASOTS in awhile. Good thing, I was finally getting a bit tired of Armin's track selection lately. :(
But redemption has been found in 178 :p
I have to say, regardless of his track selection, the man can mix!! Props to AVB. |

Wow, since when did the tracklist postings turn into the political debate chat? I try to read these forums every week as I listen to ASOT (yes I listen to it much later) in hopes of finding some mature and construction comments so I can get some insight on some of the tunes played in the set. Instead I get a bunch of ungrateful and idiotic people bashing Armin's weekly work, not so he can spend more hours of his week mixing music, that he does enough in clubs, but so he can provide to us, the listeners, and this is how we repay his efforts?
There is one thing to critisize, in which is contructive and can help improve a certain issue, but it's another thing to just bash somebody else's work as if you knew the position of Armin or any of these world renowned DJ's; acting as if you were some God who knew all. If you have a problem with the weekly shows save it for the political debate chat or something, do not bring that in here where me and others must waste our time reading your ungrateful whinning.
Keep in ming that the beauty of trance is it's diversity in listeners and sounds. Your favorite tune may be someone else's worst nightmare and we must respect that as trance listeners. The show is not made to please YOU but please us all. I hate some of the tunes that he may play, but I respect it, because we all have our own tastes. We must leave a positive legacy in Trance and EDM in general because there is enough going around bashing all of it.
And remember, no one's perfect, it is impossible to satisfy each individual. Armin tries to play what he likes but also what we like, based on feedback. If you want the show to improve critisize in a mature manner, do not bash. You select few are the very reason for your bitching. Maybe if you stfu and said something contructive, the show would get better (according to your dislike of it). I hope Armin does not just cut the show off because of you select few, this show still ing 0wns j00 4ll..gg no re. ;) |

the hell you talking about? the entire thread was discussion about what songs were played on ASOT, not a political bashing thread. if you want political flames go visit the political discussion thread.
the thread might have degenerated into something about cue files and all but whatever. not sure what the heck you are complaining about :rolleyes: |
