Having heard them live...I can attest to the fact that they make the dancefloor go NUTS...the build up in Better World is just SICK.

i finally got a chance to stop at "virgin" to check out this cd .. i havent been listening to live sets and cds as of late, because of the big monster hole in my pocket ( ) .. and not much time to waste at the store ( .. i did see a new george acosta new remix cd ... :nervous: )

anyways .. picked this cd up, and this cd rocks .. some may say rocking and dancing all night, but i listened to it, and it like chills me out .. it's very good ..

, I love this CD. Different from what Digweed was playing at the time, but rocking nonetheless.

I really don't know how some people can go as far as to say it's garbage...:conf:

It starts up kinda slow but picks up speed after track 4 and it's banging from there until the end. My favorite part is definitely from track 10 "Angel Alanis - Knob Job" until the end. :eyespop:

5/5 stars

I've been checking out Digweed's earlier work recently. I haven't been enjoying his way earlier stuff. His GU material has this trance wannabe sound to it, sorry :conf:, but on the opposite side, his work in the Transitions series has been mediocre at best. Nothing groundbreaking or timeless.

This is by far my favorite mix CD from Digweed. It's straight up groovy proggy house, and I love the usage of the different vocal tracks in this one, catchy lyrics. You can tell Digweed put a lot of time and effort into this CD. I know a few have commented on the flow. It does get a bit fluffy earlier in the middle, and I know of one odd mix into another track, but I kind of like the choppiness and awkwardness. It gives the CD this edge that ends up working in its favor.

A very intelligent thought out and somewhat abnormal mix by Digweed, but none the less, brillant.

Huge thumbs up for me.

I love it because its so Digweed and so NOT Digweed at the same time.

Easily my fav mix by him ever, its the CD that firmly told me "HEY, this is the music you wanna listen to, get off that trance bandwagon!"

ing great tunes, great flow, great mixing, great story from beggining to end...

Great line!

To me, I guess it was Sander Kleinenberg's "This is Everybody Too". That's the moment when I realized the amazing music I've been missing by listening to Tiesto and Armin.

Those CDs have the classics of prog trance/house imo...HK is a monster.

Gotta admit older Digweed albums like his Fabric, MMII, and Bedrock were all really good installments; unlike Transitions which have been fun...just lack some sort of direction/motive at times.

Can't win them all, but it's been a pretty impressive run of 10+ years with outstanding albums from Diggers.

That's cuz he was spinning progressive trance and house back then, not some "Trance wannabe" sound. And please, his style throughout the 90s easily surpasses anything he's done in the last couple years.

Yes, I understand!

I just don't like that mix of prog house/trance, that's what I meant by "want to be" sound. I much prefer PVD's TPOD1 & the earlier ISOS series CD's back when Digweed was doing the GU cd's, just what I personally enjoy.

It's not really a bad mix but there have never been any tunes on it that make me think 'WOW' (Da Glass - Won't bother me was my favourite on it) like gu019 where the minute I heard Pole Folder - Apollo Vibes at the beginning, I knew I was in for a wicked few hours of music.

Saying that I've been into dance a few years now and I've done a bit of everything but begun to realise the genres I really feel in touch with the most are trance and the genres around it like prog, I absolutely love all that late 90s/early 00s GU stuff, it's a shame they don't make them like that anymore
