In simplistic terms, the PRC has pretty much the necks of RoC, you just have to wait for two things, Economic Integration between the straits and in about 10 years, the ROC wouldn't exist at all. This is assuming the PRC don't invade them within 10 years and a less authoritative approach from PRC ;) |

China invading Russia would have the same outcome as nK invading the south - suicide. End of their government and about 25% of their population. And the victor wouldn't necessarily want to step in to take control of the invading country. It would kinda be like the same scenario as Canada attacking the US to invite a senseless slaughter.

snaps this generated alot of people, i think my favorite theory was pay per view.
Easliy russia is planning on taking over all of aisa for the oil fields (yes bassed on the tom Clancy novel, because tom clancy > all)
china has more technology so they would preemptive on russia and the payper view ratings would be almost as bad as a a 1 min knockout in boxoing

| First off China will NEVER be able to eer invade tawian, because the international back lash that they would recieve would be so extreme, and our backing of taiwan with technological support, if you look at every situtation where china has started to get a few war ships there, the US has all of a sudden broughten into the pacific. the invasion of Taiwan from china would mean the US would become involved to help protect taiwan's right to be independent. Look it up, us has taiwan's back i dont see this ever happening, (not like china would invade russia roflcotporwewewewewewew) |

Don't kid ya sen mate, America would become involved if China invaded Taiwan (not sure if they'd have the balls tho) but not to protect its right to be independant!!! America woul;d become involved to protect America's economy, just like South Korea... |
