I am torn. Allegiance to both.

My friend refers to it as amatures' night, since all the people who normally don't party and drink seem to choose this day to go out and not handle their liquor very well. N00bs.

BTW, this is a COR topic.

I know everybody bitches about it. So do I.

It's just do I want to be the guy who sits home NYE to set an example?

No.

way the hell overhyped. why bother?

who cares about setting an example? just do what you want. i usually sit at home. i dont need it as an excuse to drink when i do plenty of that the rest of the year.

new year's is just a day of sleep for me, thanks to it being a national holiday.

My NYE usually ends up being the same each year. In bed early for work the next day. But this year is different. This year it is at the IKON Theatre in NYC. :D

i always love nye in los angeles at giant. i think that the vibe there is the best vibe in the world. its the one show that i will always look forward to. to be sure, nye is about more than just listening to a great liveset; i do that all year round. nye is about the vibe, and the people who you are around.

go to a rocking house party or stay home and save your money

over hyped imo. i always try to spend it quiet amongst good friends instead with lots of food and all the necessary compliments ;)

For me it's night which I just want to get through as quick as possible, specially this year, no big deal, all plans failed, nothing to look forward to, and I'll probably have to work too.
