I Need Quality Reccomendations

Hey yall, just had my CDs stolen an few weeks ago, very traumatic, but Im starting out fresh like it or not. I dont really feel like buying too many old CDs back (except I had to get Northern Exposure 2 east coast)...and need some reccomendations for GOOD NEW TRANCE!
Does it exist??

Stuff I like...
Trance: Older Oakenfold (BEFORE Bunnka), a few ATB tracks, some older PVD, Sasha + Digweed, Acosta, etc.
DnB: Dieselboy etc. (he gets all the good DnB in there), Raiden, Concord Dawn.
Psi: Shpongle, Infected Mushroom, Younger Brother, some Logicbomb.
IDM: only heard Aphex Twin, and I dig it.

I like the essence of what Armin Van Buuren does w/ his stuff, but the limited amount Ive heard (and it seems like this with most of the new big stuff) is all formulaic shell and no substance...um...not to hurt anyones feelings or anything..my opinion. I really like the whole epic build up feeling of prog. trance and wish I could find something besides bare-bone formula songs. I want to like ATBs stuff but its predictable, and even Alice Deejays 'Better off Alone' had qualities, as cheezified as it was.
I dont really know how to communicate this better....maybe Im just going to have to make my own?
Is there a DnB trance mix out there? It would throw a little variety into those sythns.

Is there a quality epidemic or am I not looking hard enough?

Prepare to have a never-ending list of absolutely crap music thrown at you. It's what happens to all "music suggestion" threads.

^^Gee that helps, that's for him to decide

I would go for ATB - "Marrakech" (Alex MORPH Synthetic Empire Rmx)
Concord Dawn - Disturbed & Uprising albums
stuff by Timmy Shcumacher vs. Baitercell, more like breaks tho.

well thats all i can think of atm, not feeling very well.:sadgreen:

Yeah I happened to get a copy of the new ATB from a friend and I enjoyed Marakech, and some of the others were ok.
I forgot to note that BT has had some of the best PVD remixes Ive ever heard IMHO.

Any whole CD reccomendations?

Indeed. People are going to reccommend you everything from cheesey trance like Markus, to repetative hardstyle like Lady Dana.

But, I noticed you mentioned psychedelic. Theres way to much I could reccommend at the moment, and it may be hard for you to actually get your hands on unless you buy it online. I'll get back to you when I wake up, though. :]

IMO that's a little hard on Tiesto, I'd say Skazi is more like psy's answer to DJ Sammy. ;)

Ok, I liked perfecto presents another world, but I dont want to re-buy an old CD, is there any new quality 'big thing'? Or is everything just so sub-catagorized, specialized and diffused that there is no unchallanged #1 of trance? Does anyone understand what I am getting at? Is all the big stuff just cheeze now?
Remember Tranceport mixed by Oakie back in the day? That was a solid mix I think. It was also the first trance I really got into, maybe its always been like this?
Is trance dying?::nervous:

Hah, Ok I can agree with that.

Let's not forget one of Skazi's recent tunes, Benny Benassi - Satisfaction (Skazi Remix) :nervous:

I beg you to have mercy and please do not turn this into another "trance is dying thread."
