Well i've celebrated with some of you already, but I was was waiting for all the background check to come in before I announced it: I just got my start date for a new position at Mt. Sinai Hospital (100st & Madison)
I'm going to be stepping into a SENIOR position over there in the Systems Analyst division, what i've always wanted!!! I am SOOOO excited and I start THIS monday!

| Basically my function is to maintain, improve, and backup the systems and networks that allow access to the roughly 62 million medical journals and medical information documentation that the Levy Library has made available to the residents (future doctors) of the Mt. Sinai School of Medicine. |

i'd say about 90% of the architecture is windows (MSqL)
there is some solaris 9 though.
no linux from what i've seen/heard thus far, but atleast it isnt a cluster of O/S' like my last job....FreeBSD, Red Hat, Solaris, every version of windows under the sun, mac's, Boyd, Lindows...what a headache.... :crazy:
