Overall this was a great set. I was going nuts when he dropped "jump the next train," as was the rest of the crowd...
The light was unreal... the lasers were great.
Armin was in a great mood, smiling and dancing with the crowd the whole time...
There were ALOT of dudes though. Not that I came to meet girls. But I would rather be crowded up next to a girl than a bunch of guys.
Oh well, at least all the normal factory-heads weren't there....
Ancient History was sick on that sound system |

i had an awesome time. it was def pretty crowded and ikinda lost some respect for spirit for that. the sound sys was pretty cool except some of the high frequences should have been cut off when they got really loud. but the lasers were awesome.
Armin played an amazing set though. shouldn't have expected anything less.
highlights
Communication
Jump the Next Train
Peter Martin - Simple Blue
Tiesto - Ancient History
Tiesto - Barada 8pm
Abel Ramos - Aquarius (Randy Katana Remix)
Robert Gitelman - Children of the Sun
i was happily surprised he dropped the two Tiesto songs from Parade of Athletes
All in all a good night =) |

Great in night!
Armin was rippin it til the end of his set! Had a great time with all my friends that came up from philly. I need to get ahold of this rip.
And he even played a cd I gave him of my bro's new track--Sean Tyas-"Funky Town" ....it was mixed in with blue fear during the encore!
Didnt see that many other TA's except for surge and his gf, guess alot are seein him tonight at FUR...
time to recover... |

Last year when Remy and Armin played at Roxy, I went to see Armin mainly, and remy was just an added bonus. Last night it was the opposite. I was more excited about remy, and the guy totally lived up to my expectations. He played a lot of his own stuff, and after last night, I gotta say, he is my favorite club music producer out there. Not electronic music in general, just the best at making all out club bangers. Armin was awesome while I was there, which wasn't that long after 2:30 or so.
Some tracks Remy played...
Remy - Dustsucker, Napolitan, Backstabber
Quivver - Space Manouevers Part 3
Pig and Dan - Blonde
One thing that really really annoyed me about last night was that they didn't have the third floor open, and getting a drink was like a 20 minute process. |
