Hi Bikkel,
That rolling thing that comes in at 0:27 seems to be panned far to the left, and until the melody comes in at 0:54, it sounds too left-heavy. At first I thought my headphones were busted!
I like the chord progression you've got - it adds some uniqueness to the song!
I think the clap is too epic for this kinda trance. I'd like to hear it with something crisper and clearer. I think the percussion overall needs quite a bit of variation as the song progresses, as it is very repetitive.
Your levels & equing needs some work, but you are definately on the right track.
Anyway, keep up the fine work, and don't forget to post pictures of your friends' hot sisters with every new song (see forum rules):toothless

hey Michael,
ur melody is def. good, and ur beats are good, i like the punchyness of them, just one thing u gotta work on now is mastering, the kick needs stronger, percs quiter, make the synth more dreamy, not so like 1999 u know...
and bass needs more volume maybe,
other than that u know what ur doin, just mastering u gotta work on,

Nice percs in the intro.
I agree with sooper about that clap. It doesn't fit. At least not in the intro.
I think you should center that bassline. It's really bothering me with how far to the left it is.
Ooh, that squealchy bass in the ourto is really cool. You should accent it more in the rest of the song, cause I couldn't here it. |
