| Ok, so these guys must be important since they have a genre named after them and everything. Being the newbie i am, only discovered their music recently - "Song of Life" and specially "Melt" are absolutely brilliant. But also found out some funky house records by them, what a weird change in style. Anyone got more info about them, like how old are their tracks, similar artists, etc? Just thought these guys deserved a thread. |

| both of their albums were groundbreaking landmarks. Leftism is probably the better of the two (by a slim margin). They split up but never will there be a group that has made two albums that were just EDM landmarks. They were so forward thinking |

| Also the great thing about Leftism is that it has a little of something for everyone, because of how diverse the tracks are. It would have been awesome if it were a mix, but even though they are separate tracks the music does take you on a journey. |

The first album is great the first time you hear it. But then you discover that there's a lot of what in my opinion is "filler" on it. Like Black Flute.
The second I haven't heard. |

| Leftism is sublime all the way through, Rhythm & Stealth is better in places but weak in others. |

I'll say it again: I consider myself lucky that I got to see them live before Leftfield ceased to exist. It was a gig I won't forget in a hurry.
Also, Paul Daley is an excellent DJ. Check his Essential Mix for a sublime serving of downtempo/reggae and techno. |
