See, not only does that store not discard expired food nor offer to reimburse you for selling you expired food, but the girls who work there are fugly as well.
Tell me which store that was and I'll boycott it as well. :D |
Haha. 'Roberts Boxed Meats' is where I bought the sausages. :] |

As the TA Produce Clerk, I would like to comment on Chinese Mandarins.
When (most) stores get shipped these things, we get a full pallet (200+ cases)
It is fcking impossible for us to check every single box.
So my question to you is: why the didn't you open it before you buy it?
Quite often they come in from the warehouse like that, not because it's been sitting on the floor for years. |
I have to totally agree here. Been a produce clerk myself and had the misfortune of needing to dig through and rebox and entire pallet of mandarins that were of the quality described. I have a real dislike of citrus mold myself so it was a horrible job for a few hours one day.
I'd recommend checking any box of fruit that you purchase, especially during the holidays when these things become a big item. Most the time it just takes too much time for the produce employees to look through the boxes before they are put out on display. If you are going to search through the boxes. . just try to not make a huge mess and the produce employees shouldn't get too upset with you. |

| If I was you I'd call in the health inpectors. Dunno what it's like there but in the uk, here. You get charged £2000 per out of date item, i.e. 10 bags of out of date tomatoes = £20000 (us$40000 ish). Made me do my job ing right when I had to check stuff when I used to work in a supermarket. |

Yeah those are the best kind. Don't worry about the white stuff.... if you do decide to try one.... dial 911 first.. and tell them to hurry.......

I'll sit out front of the store with a sign and an old oil drum. |
