HP Media Center PC's RCA inputs?

I'm getting a new PC for X-mas and am strongly considering getting one of the new HP Media Center PC's. I noticed that they have red and white RCA inputs, and I'm assuming you can record from a mixer (Xone: 92)using these inputs...I'm not sure though. I wanted to know if anyone knew that this was possible, so I could cross off havign to get a USB sound card and use the PC's RCA inputs instead. Thanks

thanks. But I'm trying to circumvent the whole external sound card thing. I'm trying to figure out if you can record from the RCA inputs that come standard with HP's new Media Center PC's.

An Audiophile is internal. It is a PCI card.

If they are inputs, you can record from them. They might be outputs though and the input could be a 1/8" headphone jack in which case you would need an RCA --> 1/8" cable to record with.
