Nyana (Indoor)

I tried finding a relevant thread so please don't flame if there was allready discussion on this topic (which I'd immagine there would have to be).

But the more sets and CDs I listen to, the more I realize that somehow Tiestos Nyana Indoor CD stands out from the rest. It's mellow kind of like his ISOS, but somehow more dreamlike.

Anyway the question is this: Is there ANYTHING out there even remotely close to this CD? I havn't ever come accross a single thing. If anybody else appreciated the indoor half of Nyana as much as I did, I'm sure your dieing to find something else thats like it.

Try some older live mixes by Oakenfold, like Live in China.
Also try "Another World" by Oakenfold.

Listen to this track:

Agreed. I first picked it up and listened to it in Vegas during the summer of last year. For some reason it fits with Vegas real well. But that's just me.

One of my favourite compilations. Just love the way it starts then to the filterheadz song (very dreamlike) then to andain flowing into 2 very compelling instrumental songs, then james holdens nothing, flowing into as the rush comes then some more 'chilled' vocal/instumental trance ending off with the brilliant north pole. Very underrated mix by Tiesto IMO. One of his best flowing and mixed compilations if you ask me.

the only problem i found with it was that he sped up Tina Arena's vocals for his never remix. Spoils her powerful creamy voice.

But i still love everything else about the cd. One of my all time fav's.

Is indoor the one with Andain-Beautiful things on it?

Quite enjoyed nyana. For me it all went a bit pair shaped for Tiesto after that.
Still, I really liked it, loved the techy intro for the outdoor one, not the most listenable thing for a mix cd, but did show what he is capable of.
Indoor was cool, thoug tiesto is a trance dj at heart, and does the tougher stuff better imho. Maybe check out lightside/darkside - there is a proggy disc in the same kinda vein on that.

The indoor cd is the last piece of work by Tiesto worth something. After this compilation (and referring ONLY to the indoor cd), he has gone waaaaaay downhill...

It's a great set if you ask me. I specially love Andain - Beautiful Things and James Holden - Nothing. Overall the CD flows well and the mixing is as flawless as always. Nice work by Tiesto that somehow got labeled as "too commercial" and a "sellout". Far from it my friends, faar from it.

it probably got labeled commercial for a few reasons. one may be that he did not play 30 minutes of too-dark-that-i-can't-see-the-beats house, and that pretty much all tunes were hits.
