Ok, I dont know if any of you went to both shows, but I did, let me tell you it was a rough weekend. Hands down the Montreal show was better and I'll explain why. First of all he played in the university of Montreal sports arena (Cepsum), when I first heard that he was playing in a sports arena I thought it was gonna be small, I was wrong this place was huge, Tiesto's Dj booth was setup at one side of the rink and on the other side there were seats, I'd say like as high as the 200 level at the ACC, not too many ppl were in the seats but people would go over from time to time to chill out. I'm not very good at estimating how many ppl are in a venue, but my friends who were with me say there was about 7,000 ppl in there and there could have been 3000 more easily and there was no problem moving around and tons of room to dance. We got there at about 11, (Tiesto came on at 11:30) and we waited in line for 10 minutes and got in, the line was big but moved fast, the coat check line was about 3 minutes if that, see they had tables set up and about 20 ppl working at coat check unlike the docks' set up (I was in line for an hour). Though Tiesto's sets were pretty much the same I think the one in Montreal was better, he played harder, it was a better vibe. The show at the Docks was good, not as packed as his last show at the Guv thankfully. I think Tiesto is becoming too big to be playing at the Guv or the Docks he should be having shows at the ACC or Ricoh Coliseum. These Dj's are gettin bigger and bigger here in T.O. first Tiesto next it will be the likes of Ferry, Armin, PVD, and so on. Thats just my opinion, what do you guys think? All I know is I will be missioning out to Montreal for more shows at that venue.

MTL has an unfair advantage when you consider that they are able to hold events in larger venues due to the bylaws there that differ greatly from TO. i'd agree tho that DJs like Tiesto are able to pull in huge numbers. i just yearn for the day that we can hold large parties in TO again without being extorted by the city ..

Positive's Montreal:
Gym was HUGE
Booth was very easy to look at - ie. U can see a LOT of Tijs

Negatives Montreal:
FRENCH pikey's who wouldn't consider english
That stupid bint who stripped and cut the record at Omnia
Tiesto-Whores lining the VIP area (Good job monique wasnt there)
Where the heck was the bar?
Cloakroom queue
Tiesto had been stuck in Dulles Airport all day... so not really ready

Positive Toronto:
Tracklist says it all.
Rehearsed show with lighting /visuals and sound.
Lots of Forummers
Drinks

Negatives Toronto:
PACKED
Position of the booth /compared
cloakroom queue
