Best Southeast Region Party of 2004
ULTRA 6: It isn't voted the best dance event in the world for nothing.
Best Southeast Region Club of 2004
HOB Orlando.....I know it's not really a club, but every show that I've seen there has been excellent. You really feel a part of the action.
Top 2 Album of 2004
Oakenfold-Creamfields
Gabriel & Dresden-Bloom
Top 3 Track of 2004
Viton and Stel - Wooden Swordz (Komas Epsilon Mix)
Above and Beyond- No One on Earth (Gabriel and Dresden Remix)
Ridgewalkers feat El- Find (Original/Andy Moor Remix)
Best Breakthough Artist
Ozgur Can ---I about died when I heard "Not Even Winds." He has a money style that is new and refreshing. He'll have an even bigger 2005.
*Another breakthrough artists worth mentioning: Luke Chable, Perry O'Neil, Matthew Dekay, Fred Baker *
One Person Who Changed the Way I Appreciate EDM
James Zabiela........if you can see him live, DO IT! UNREAL!
One Artist Who Has Let me Down in 2004
Oakenfold @ Amphitheater. Hard to say, cause he is the man who got me into EDM. 1999 and 2000 were magical years for him. He played some storming tracks this night, but his mixing is so bad.......and that hair.......come on Oakey, so much potential.....I love all of his productions and his track selections, but just straighten up when you are spinning live! |
