i still hang with the guy who introduced me to trance back in 99.
Ive gotten a couple of friends into it but theyre just casual listeners, like stuff by tiesto which isnt so hard to listen to,when it comes to rare tracks they just wait for the trance mix cd i make once a year that ive been making every year since 2000 haha.I usually let them know when ferry,pvd etc come to town to go see them and they like it.
I got my girlfriend into it somewhat,she likes southern sun kinda tracks.
The rest still only like hip hop or/and rock. |

A couple like some trance, but mainly the real light uplifting stuff and then only some (mainly vocal stuff)
Otherwise no, they all like hip-hop, a few (mainly the chicks) like rnb, some rock and a few like house. |

| I got my brother in it, albeit hes passive about it, however he calls it trance and not techno and likes some artists most people(that arnt seriously into trance) have never heard it. But most people call it techno and dont like it. And some people that used to listen to electronica which is better than "techno" said that the level of depth is not there, that there is little you can do with "bleeps and bloops" |

| Nome of my friends are into trance all into rock and pop or top 30..lonely existence to be trancing on your own but at least i got my vinyls and cd collection to keep me company |

| Alot of my friends were like that. Thing is trance, and EDM in general, can only be appreciated to its fullest in a club atmosphere with a kick ass soundsystem. I got so many of my friends into it after I dragged them to trance venues mainly commercial , ie tiesto , pvd, ferry, avb to get them started off. Now they serisouly love it, even more than Hip-Hop. :toocool: |

| None of my mates like trance. Most of them love hardstyle and hard trance (which is a shame because I have to listen to it on a near-daily basis. :(). I have maybe two mates who love trance and another who likes it but doesn't know much about it. It sucks having nobody to talk to about Trance. |

omg, you speaking for me. wow thats the exact situation im in it.
most of my friends like "hip hop & rap" stuff, one hate rap but love that cheese stuff i gave him for starting, and one of them, the melodic stuff i gave him. (shane's stuff).
its frustrating to put some tunes in the car cd, and all of them hates it.
but they can stand listening psychodelic stuff like infected mushroom,
astrix and so. |
