Mean either, I think this is a publicity ploy - I don't think anybody really cares.

What's the difference between nude art and porn?
You know it when I see it. |

well, i dont think everyone in the world would agree with you... just because you dont think anything is art, it might mean someone else think its art and vice versa.... |

I meant you know it when you see. Not when I see it, that was a typo.
The US Supreme Court has a community test though to judge what is art and what is not. If a certain X ppl in a community think the work is art, its art, if a certain X ppl in the community don't think its art, its not.
I think the soceity test is a good way to indeed determine such things. |

Art is VERY subjective.
For example most people wouldn't think that this following work from Marcel Duchamp "Bicycle Wheel" is art but it is one of his most famous pieces.

Even me, as an art major in college, if I didn't know that Marcel Duchamp created the work and realized his statements in his early 1900 exhibition work then I would be like "why the hell is there a bicycle wheel in a stool?".
I think that work is obvious as art because it is using a medium to express a statement which would classify it as art. |

But Dechamps had a purpose of bringing new concepts (and questions) to art, which have already been worked on.
I agree with you that art is very subjective, but there's a difference between being a genious and being a derivative mediocre.

| I know there was a exhibition of the piss christ which was made out of urine (or a urine like substance). It is pretty famous but is in most of the newer art books. |
