The polls are finally up! CLICK HERE
Hopefully it'll go without any hiccups this time. If however you need to make a correction, suggestion or (please no!) a complaint, then it should be done in this thread here.
Now a few points about the actual polls...
A few tracks that were voted for had to be omitted because they were not released (or are due to be released in 2004). Also, when a specific remix is listed this is because either the original version was released in a different year (e.g. "Starkid - Crayons (Leama & Moor Remix)"), or because it was the only version voted for (e.g. "F Massif - Somebody (Ferry Corsten Remix)"). Where no specific remix is listed, any remix may apply. I hope that clears things up a bit...
Happy voting, and may the best tune win. :)
(Apologies to any mods who were left in the dark over this, but I got the go-ahead from Coup and Luke to handle it. Hope everything goes to plan this time...) |

| So how are the winners of the heats determined? Is it the combination that gets the most votes? Or is it the 2 tracks that get the most votes? Let's says 1&2 gets 2 votes, 1&3 gets 2 votes, 1&4 gets 2 votes, but 2&5 gets 3 votes (assume no other options get votes). Do tracks 2&5 move on for getting the highest votes for any combo? Or does track 1 move on with 6 total votes and track 2 moves on with 5 votes? |

Yup, that's right, the votes for each track are counted individually. :) |

track seletions look MUCH better now.
Still some amazing tunes missing, but I guess that's just a matter of personal taste.
Guanxi (Super8 remix) is still #1 for 2004 pour moi. |

Yeah, I thought Guanxi would have got more nominations, but it only got one.
Random fact: The artist with the highest number of tracks nominated was Tiësto with a massive 9 different tunes making the list - yet none of them recieved enough votes to make it to the final 40. |

| I'll be interested to see the outcome, but I have to be honest and say I'm looking forward to 2005. 2004 has been an atrocious year, in my opinion, worse than 2002. |
