I like the fact that, This is more of an origin story then a full on batman film, I think half of the film will be bruce wayne before becoming the dark knight, And then probably on the last half of the movie, He becomes batman.

remember in the batman cartoon of the early 90s, he'd sometimes have flashbacks to training? that's one part of the batman story that isn't known too well, so this'll definitely be awesome... just seeing who's involved in helping him become batman.

Batman The Animated Series (1992)...I grew up watching that. Most of the episodes were more dark and surreal than even Tim Burton could hope for. I consider it the best american non-comedy cartoon ever. Which is not saying much I guess, since 99.9% of american cartoons are comedies.

I watched it...until my mom made me stop watching it, because it was "a bad influence."

i think michael keaton was too short to be an effective batman... but otherwise, the first two batman movies were mint.

too many fluorescent colors in batman forever/batman and robin just killed it. not having tim burton certainly didn't help

the first 2 batmans directed by tim burton were simply awesome, the 3rd one was ok...jim carrey saved that movie. The 4th one made me an embarrased Batman fan.The last 2 movies had way to much colors in them as well, very gay,Batman is supposed to be Dark.Im glad its going back to that.

I saw the Batman animated series as well every day after school when I was little.I agree That has to be the best animated series ever.

If you guys watch the Justice League cartoons, Batman is in those and its voice by the same actor from the original cartoons.

Yeah.. those 90s batman cartoons were simply great. You could see that it wasnt made for the kids. Dark and intense.

I also loved the new batman cartoon. Its called "Batman of the future". u guys seen that? Its very very very good imo. The new batman is a teenager but hes very straight to the point and certainly a dark, disturbed man. Bruce apparently is his mentor.
The best thing about this new cartoon, is the new batman suit is just so simple and cool!
