Anyone Everton fans here? I've been a fan since 1995.
David Moyes is doing wonders on a such a tight budget, he has no stars but has turned Everton into a hard working team with a great fighting spirit. The defense has been rock solid this season and is the reason why they are currently lying in second. |

It's scary how good Everton is doing.
Though all those 1-0 games are getting rather boring. ;) |

Bloody hell...I thought I was the only one on here, glad to see I"m not. I was born in Liverpool, raised as an Evertonian. I've seen 9 matches at Goodison and was at Wembley in 95 for the FA Cup Final against United.:) Still a miracle that my grandpa scored the tickets...I don't even want to ask how much he paid.
Tough draw today, but they didn't play very well. They definitely are a team on the rise. I wonder if Rooney regrets leaving now? |

I got a mate at work who is an Evertonian. He hates Liverpool :)
Fair play to Everton though, you deserve to be in the position you are in at the moment. You lost 3 games this season and 2 of those were Arsenal & Chelsea. Its beating the clubs lower in the table that wins you the league not just relying on beating the top of the table clubs.
I doubt you will be able to maintain the position :(. You dont have enough depth and you have been fortunate not to pick up injuries so far this season. So 2 or 3 injuries might cause a slip up for yourselves. |

| I don't know mate...if Everton can keep playing the way they are, they might very well nab third place, but they'll need to get draws in matches against the big three, Chelsea, Arsenal, Man U next time around and keep beating the lower clubs like you said. Today should have been a victory if they really want Europe. But even a place in the UEFA Cup for Everton would be a great step forward. Plus Kenwright has some money to spend next month and I hear tell they're after some quality players. |

actually they're a hard working bunch that have earned all their wins, sometimes with a bit of luck. They play hard every game and actually DO have a bit of talent. Not every club can go around spending 200 million pounds on players. |

If my Grandfather was still alive today and heard you said that he'd rip your head off Taha and shove up it your arse. |

I caught the game between Everton and Man City. Very great showing by the Toffees. They had their way with City with those 2 goals in the first half and kept City goalless when City was making a furious charge in the 2nd half.
It's a shame that the Toffees can't get over the mental hump and regularly beat the top 4. (Losing to Man Utd at Old Trafford in December because of Pienaar's penalty, falling apart against Arsenal, etc.)
Here's hoping they finish 4th place!
Because I'd really, really, really, really would LOVE to see Liverpool miss out on the Champions League :p |
