Curbside Pick-up

Now here is a disturbing trend. Restaurants are starting to have curbside pick up where they bring your order to your car. Talk about the ULTIMATE laziness. And I thought drive-up payphones were bad.

Here is a tip. Get off your fat ass, go into the restaurant and get your food yourself and maybe you won't be so fat. I bet the same people who buy diet coke and subscribe to low carb diets use this service. NO WONDER WE ARE GETTING FAT. It really goes way beyond the food we eat.

It astounds me who lazy we are becoming. A rainy day is enough to slow down business at just about any store. I guess its such a big deal to walk 10 feet from your car to the store?

Man, A&W used to have that way back when. I don't know why they stopped it.

However, it'd be rad as all hell to be in your '53 cherry red Corvette convertible with white pearl trim, a fine lady sitting shotgun, and having your A&W stuff brought to you via a waitress on rollerskates in a pink getup.

Am I right or am I right?

But my legs are tired. I already walked all the way to my car instead of just getting delivery!

Finally something i completly agree with you on Jay!

in lazy people these days. When ever i get on the bus at Square1 in sauga, (starting point for the trip) people always get off literaly two blocks away. ok i know you transfered buses, but was it really that hard to walk 10min to your house? rather than waiting the 15-20 for the bus?

people are lazy as hell these days, and eating is not the only reason society is getting FAT.

people must realize that excercise is just as important as eating well. I eat like a horse, but am thin because of excercise. (i know that doesnt neccessarily mean i have a healthy heart) but how many thin people do you see dying of heart desiese at the age of 40?

hah that reminds me of people who get on elevators for one floor... I mean, unless you're carrying something really heavy, use the stairs for one floor!!! :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip:

I see the same thing all the time at College Park if I go down there for lunch or to Dominion...almost NO ONE uses the stairs, but will all pile on to the escalators.

no wonder we have the level of obesity that we do...it's not just about stairs vs. escalators, it's a comment on their attitude towards "effort" or physical activity...most people always look for a short cut

that 'short cut' is what defines human behavior. all of our 'advancements' through history have been short cuts. how can we do things faster, more efficiently and with less effort?

why stab somebody when you can just pull a trigger and shoot them from a distance? why use 40,000 foot troops for war, when you can just drop one bomb and take out a whole city?
