It is just the liberal hippies bitching about the death toll. In fact more soldiers are living today to to improved battle field medicine.
My grandpa said if they would have been there at D-Day, they would have freaked at the massive loss of life in that one day compared to this war.

I am not surprised there is an organized resistance. Most people thought Iraq would be perfect right after the defeat of Saddam.
Rome was not built in a day and the same thing goes for Iraq. We will be there for a few more years to say the least. |

| With the impending iraqi elections in january (if they take place at all or are delayed due to security fears..but lets just suppose they do happen)it looks increasingly likely that a hardline cleric will be elected from recent reports i have read..and if that is the case..he will most definatly give the americans there marching orders as this will be his election mandate..so the question is who will this suit most George W or the iraqi people..interesting times ahead.. |

i think Afganistan was a mistake - they should've just dropped 2 nukes... and undermine the society, and the "freedomfighters".
as far as Iraq goes they should've nuked big cities during the first few days, it would've been over a year ago.
oh...and palestine and Iran and N. Korea all could use a couple of nukings too.

I agree with him on this point, this is exactly what the wise and knowing US is doing. I hope we will replace the now corrupt insitutions (UN) with New insitutions as well ;)
Anyhoo, whoever actually thinks this was made by the Iraqi resistance fighters should think twice... this propoganda although maybe commisioned by some resistance organization was surely not the product of one.
Oh and France, Russia, and Europe come off real bad in it too.. ;) |

For every American soldier that is killed in these insurgent attacks an estimated 11 Iraqi civilians die. Thats some food for thought.
The insurgents are fighting a lost cause. Time to lay down the arms and move on. |
