Just wondering if PvD ever move or interacts with the crowd when playing... Just watching a short snip-it of sensation white.. they show djs liek darude and others moving along, waving to the crowd... n then they show PvD staring into space, like hes thinking if he locked the back door before he left...

Im not doubting his djing skills... hes one of my fav prodicers/djs... jsut wondering if anyones got footage or has seen him wow a crowd....

he doesnt need to move.

just as rigid as digweed. Oakenfold too...wait no, I saw oakenfold to the 'jesus pose' once.

Wait. I did see Digweed move once. He kinda 'threw up his hands' as if he were powerless when he was removed from stage because he and Sasha wanted to play longer on their Delta Heavy tour. Other than that, I don't think those DJs move, even to get into or out of the booth. I think they have some kind of trolley they're wheeled in on, to save their bodies from the excessive work their fingers do twiddling knobs in the DJ booth.

given their god-like DJ status, excessive use of muscles are deemed unneccessary as it may disturb the balance of cosmos. PvD does the occasional jumps though, ONLY when he play @ Love Parade, and nowhere else.

I can confirm i have seen Pvd move 3 times. Last time he played in Sydney at Gas when he played 3 different mixes of nothing but you, when that little drum breakdown happens pvd did actually play his own personal set of imaginary drums.

I was

Other than that no movement observed in 3 hours

he sure does. PVD @ Gas 2003 he was smiling and moving.

but you gotta see the man in his home nation.

PVD @ Fight The Parade 2004 ~ the guy was going NUTS! with 8000 people walking the streets of Berlin and dancing to his tunes who wouldn't :D

Just the way he is man.. His music pretty much is what keeps him up there! imagine if he had heaps of crowd interaction :whip:

My friend told me once he saw him look up at the crowd. I can't confirm though.

that's alright though if he has that image. people will remember him as the robot dj with technical excellence. the man mixes like a machine!

and boy did he prove that @ Gas.

mandrake children + clocks!

it was insane.
