i aint posting this elsewhere coz i dont really care what anyone else thinks.
we all have to suffer the wrath of the radio at some point, some of us cant stand everything it pumps out, some of us like non-edm tunes.
whats this years best non dance tunes?
my votes go to:
Keane - Bedshaped
Christian Liontou (sp) - The Shinning
Embrace - Ashes
thats all that really spring to mine. i found most of the years tunes tripe. |

Kristian Leontiou - Shining ;) and yeah thats a mint tune, infact his whole album is. tho it def aint for most people.
mine are probs :
Keane - Somewhere Only We Know
Snow Patrol - the whole of Final Straw album is amazing couldnt pick one, couldnt even pick just 5.
The Libertines - The Man Who Would Be King
The Killers - Smile Like You Mean It
Natasha Bedingfield - Unwritten
Joss Stone - Victim Of A Foolish Heart
Hope Of The States - Black Dollar Bills
Franz Ferdinand - Take Me Out
Embrace - Gravity
Zero 7 - Home / Somersault / Passing By / Speed Dial no2 / The Space Between
The Thrills - Not For All The Love In The World
quiet a lot there but there been plenty of wikked music out this year. Some people might think some of those tracks are utter e but i dont care cuz i like em :p |

| There's not a bad song on Keane's album, but Bedshaped is probably my favourite. It makes me hyper sad when I watch the video, eek. |

What exactly is so different and innovative about that track? Sounds like bog standard guitar pop to me. |

| well the guy has a quite orchestratic voice [which when the track came out was new], more melodic than usual guitar tracks, and i thought it was quite poetic too |

| its possible there is a bass guitar used in some tracks but im almost certain thats just a bass synth. and i think thats wot makes them so interesting its indie music but they replace the guitar with a piano. |
