| So a young couple came in today with a little dog. I had to tell them that the dog wasnt allowed by order of the health dept. Can you believe that these people got upset? They just left. I mean what kind of idiot expects to be able to bring a dog into a restaurant and then gets upset because you tell them they cant? |

i personally dont mind if people have dogs but i dont need to be shut down by the health dept. Oakville people think they are special anyways.

| Speaking of dogs... Companies like Microsoft and Google allow their workers to bring dogs into work. Dogs are not allowed in the cafeteria though. |

Were they going to takeout or eat in?
If takeout, why not just sell them the food and be done with it?

because having them stand there is against the law even for 5 mins. Also other customers will get upset. I personally dont care but i have to think about other customers and regulations when operating a restaurant. You think i liked turning away a potential 10 to 20 bucks? |

it all ties into that sense of entitlement some people seem to have...regardless of whatever perfectly logical explanation you provide them.
"what do you mean I can't _______!"
what's the current bylaw situation on pets on the TTC, btw? I thought they were not allowed there either, although some people seem not to care. |
