Here are some tracks that will ACTUALLY send a chill down your spine, not just make use of some silly samples to make it "seem" scary. I totally freaked myself out while listening to these tracks on my headphones late at night in the dark on a stormy night.

These two tracks sound truely haunting on a LOUD sound system with good bass. Perfect Trance for a HORROR MOVIE soundtrack.

Mauro Picotto - Pulsar, thats quite a dark tune... for some reason first thing i thought of.
Orbital - Shadows, not sure if it's trance but that really freaks me out. It's like being somewhere you've never seen before and twisting and turning trying to get out, sheer panic of not finding an exit, and then fading away. Bloody marvalouse tune.
