Darude @ Guv -- any good?

apparently Darude (and others... but it seems [to my knowledge] that he's the best dj out of all the other ones listed) will be at Guvernment for the 'W2' event on Wednesday December 29, 2004...
I have never heard Darude perform mixing wise... is it worth going to this event? is Darude any good? |

yea... i was expecting that kinda response... the rest of the dj's dont look so good either...
i dunno... just that i havent heard Darude mix before... so for all i know he might be the most amazing dj :rolleyes: , just thought i'd check... |

Darude played here in San Francisco a few weeks back, and apparely was amazing !
So if you are under-age, you should definitely check out that party..
And no.. I'm NOT kidding ! |

| darude plays sweet trance, don't be fooled by sandstorm and his mainstream success, if you like pure melodic epic trance it should be good. but i'm worried, becasue it looks like its going to be a euro invasion cheese fest for all agers, so definately count me out. i'd definately see darude dj if it was just him on a 19+ |

I heard Darude is awesome live too.

Darude (Ville Virtanen) is a GREAT DJ.
Unfortunately his "Sandstorm" was such a great track it went commercial really quick and you know how it is for DJ's that make commercial tracks - their credibility disappears quick (even if unjustified).
I would recommend it 100%. It will be a GREAT show. |

Fully agreed. I saw Darude live a few years back and it was awesome as . Some really serious tracks tossed in there. Very VERY good show. Unfortunately the crowd at this W2 event is going to be less than desirable for most of us, I think. |
