Work in progress. Promised to do a mix of this seems like years ago but i've only just got round to it. Feedback welcome as always.

We want more bass!
(Like I'm the right person to say that!)
Give us the full lenght! :D |

- The kick needs to be louder IMO (just a guess: is it the dance kick 1?).
- Nice lead there, but make it clearer and louder.
- You need a LOT more percs IMO, or at least make them louder.
- Good bass, but it's too strong, too bassy.
- I think it's overcompressed.
Overall it sounds good, just work on it a bit more :) |

Appreciated guys. :D
@ronk, kick is actually from a vst, just pitched it up to make it sound clearer.

Yeah, that one worked!
The bassline is fantastic! Though, the first two minutes is boring. You have to start off kinda slow, and then bring in the elements to make the track progress. But it sounds very good! Now, make the break, and break a leg! The track needs a Mainmelody:toocool: |

| very filled up.. thats good.. some parts of the lead is good, but some parts are kinda mudded out.. i dont like the lead.. and almost the same thing goes for over 2 minutes.. cool FX after 2 minutes though.. bass has too much low end i think.. cool idea with the lead the in the last part if the sample.. but I would definitely try to "clear out" the kick, bass and lead.. |

Melodically and structurally this is sound. However, the technical side needs work.
Imagine making a track as building a house. Kick and bass are the foundation, that needs to be solid before you can build up from it. Right now your kick is being drowned by the bassline and synths. So first of all, increase the volume on the kick, and then give it a little more solidity by boosting around 100-140 hz until the kick is clear and present. Then adjust the bassline accordingly so that it drives the track without overriding the kick. Then everything should sit well.
Lastly, reverb is an effect best used sparingly. Remember that clubs are large enclosed areas where sound bounces around a LOT, resulting in natural reverberation. Any reverb you hear on your speakers at home is multiplied tenfold in the clubs, so thats something to note.
Otherwise good work, look forward to hearing more from you in the future. |
