A woman has been charged in connection to an appalling attack on a pregnant woman in Missouri and the removal and kidnapping of the fetus the victim was carrying.
Officials have arrested a 36-year-old mother of two from Kansas in connection to the brutal assault. Authorities said she went to the victim’s home under the pretense of buying a dog.
Police allege the woman strangled 23-year-old Bobbie Jo Stinnett, who was eight months pregnant, and removed her unborn child from her womb. The victim was still alive after the horrific ordeal, clinging to life she was taken to hospital where she later died.
Apparently, the assailant had been pregnant but miscarried and had lied to her husband about giving birth. Officials said she confessed to strangling Stinnett and taking her child.
The baby girl, named Victoria Jo, was united with her father on Friday and is reportedly in good condition. Her father has called her “a miracle.”
Lisa Montgomery is charged with kidnapping causing death. Police said a tip that came through an Amber Alert lead authorities to her.

wow that baby being alive and well is a miracle.
God can u imagine though what it is going to be like for the child once it finds out what really happened to his/her mother. Sad :confused: |

THank god that baby was 8 months old & able to survive his/her ordeal...The month of December has had some really BAD happen here & abroad:( |

babies dont get aborted
fetuses get aborted
Its the murder/kidnapping thats disturbing
neither by themselves are overly odd. Kidnapping an unborn? thats just strange. |
