After watching this video a couple of days ago, i actually get sick when i eat meat now... I just wonder if things like this happens at factory farms, or if they kill the animals more humanly.
Theres nothing good about this video, it's just as bad as the security video of the man that commited suicide after his gf broke up w/ him. |

Well, I know that under 20 years ago, for cattle, they would herd them into the plant and one by one, send them through the "knocker". It was basically just a large, steel spike that was aligned to ram straight through the cow's skull, killing it immediately. They used to have people who would manually run the knocking machine, but I'm pretty sure that changed as it just... got to people. Every now and then, the spike would miss the cow's brain, and it would be alive while they were flaying it or it would manage to stumble around a bit and then make a break from the plant. My dad once came across a stop-light at night, when all of a sudden, a bloody cow just went running past the intersection. He rolled down his window and yelled to it, "Run, run! You're almost there! You're almost home-free!" :stongue:
We don't know exactly what happened to it, but nothing gets out of life alive anyways. :happy2:
As horrible as it sounds, instant-death is far more humane than what these people did in the vid. That was just ing sick and wrong. I'm really not sure about slaughterhouses for pigs, but I would imagine they are very similar to those of cows. PETA released lots of vids showing abuse in these plants and such, but it's not the fault of the system or the meat-industry; it's the fault of the ing yokel-employees who have little regard for the suffering of life. Desensitized, my ass - people make choices and it takes a bad type of person to actually go through with something like that. |

| Honestly, you have to be a sick mother****** to even attempt something like that. That ing pig is so helpless and innocent. And to purposely kill it for no ing reason and laugh is just asking to be killed themselves, I cant believe such sick mother******s exist in this world..:whip: |

| excuse my stupidness, but how come the body of the pig stayed alive a good 5 minutes afte the head was taken off. i though you needed your brain for your lungs / heart etc to still work. then there's the blood loss. |

i knew people like that existed but i hadn't seen something like this before.
It's not so much by the pig/blood i'm disgusted, but more about those 2 s who deserve to die the same way. |
