Review: Dennis Hahn @REV Fri Dec 17th

Hey local TA's.
If you didn't have anything to do this past friday night, the Purple room at REV was the place to be. Playa24_7 and myself arrived around 10:30 pm. The night started off pretty slow. We sat down and chilled, having some drinks. My friends that did show up decided to leave because it was really slow...humm let's see...good music and no crowd VS. ty ass kyfe music and chance of a crowd at Phil's....um ya I'll stay where I am!!! The night really started to pick up around 12.....
Dennis Hahn...you are a wicked guy!!! You are a great DJ. I'll dance to your tunes any day!!! You opened the night and finished the night perfectly!!!! Thank you!
Dj Mobius was pretty impressive as he got further into his set! LEGACY!!!!! was the highlight of the night.....got flashbacks of my night at Tiesto!!!!
We got to have more TA's come out for these great local nights!!!

A great night as always. For something local, you cant beat trance events at the Purple Room. Me and Dance2dabeat got there pretty early, expecting it to be crowded right away like last time. Dj Dennis Hahn always puts out amazing sets, and lastnight was the same. He opened for Dj Mobius, and even though the crowd wasnt fully out yet in the room, he was still spinning as if it was. That Dj Dennis Hahn for ya.
We sat around for abit and chilled out untill the room started to get filled up, then we hit the floor.
Dj Mobius came on, started off nice and slow, and really, i didnt know what to expect. I was standing there wondering "what does this dj spin exactly? will it be staying slower?" and about it being slower, no way! He starts off with some chilled out trance songs, gets you moving abit, but not to much, and thats his trick. All of a sudden he drops some crazy track and it just hits you with a bang! You go from moving around alittle, to dancing insane, its wicked. After Mobius's was done, I went up to him, shook his hand, and said thanks for the great set. Had to let him know haha.
Dj Dennis Hahn finished up the night, and WOW! He was dropping so many amazing songs, I was just freaking out! Everyone was going nuts on the floor, people yelling when the climax of the songs hit, the vibe was just wicked. Even Dennis was dancing around, all smiles, clapping his hands, getting the crowd pumped up even more haha. A down to earth dj, and hilarious person haha. Thanks for the wicked set!!
If you havent heard Dj Dennis Hahn or Dj Mobius spinning yet, next time you get the chance, GO! hehe |

| I'm glad you guys had a good time, I know I sure did. I had a great time spinning in the purple room, and it was fun spinning along side Dennis Hahn who always puts on a good show. Hopefully, we can do it again in the future :D |

It was great to party outside of toronto.. nice lil road trip!
As for the dj's - they killed it.. i couldn't stop dancing..

| Good to hear ppl are going to these events in the Purple Room. Dennis and Mobius are great dj's and I'm sure they both put on a wicked show! I was going to go last night, but I unfortunately had to work until 1:30am. |

Wow, some great music in the purple room friday night... Everytime ive been to the purple room and dennis hahn is on the decks, he's always playin somethin i like... heh earlier in the day, i was talkin to mobius about the track yimana and how we both like it, and Dennis drops it early in the night =)
DJ Mobius, that was a really good set... Started off with a chilled feel, but then got alot harder. Amazing flow, and it ended with a bang =) the legacy was sick, and revelation right after was wikked too.

You people have no idea how upset I am I couldn't go.
I was still feeling pretty ty from the whole week before, swollen tonsil/adnoids/whatever, could hardly swallow, or even breathe sometimes. Took some Nyquil (WORST IDEA EVER) and was dying at 8pm, fell asleep at 10, woke up at noon on Saturday.
Got Dan (Play24_7)'s messages about The Legacy and Solstice and I wanted to shoot myself for missing such a set. AAAAAAAAGHHHH
I'm just hoping there'll be something like that soon enough. |

The night definately started off slow, and by 12am I had pretty much figured it was going to be one of those nights because of exams and such. It really picked up at 12:30 and soon after was a great turnout. The most important thing is that the people came to dance; always an energetic crowd there!! Many thanks to the regulars who came out to support, it's always very much appreciated!! Nice hanging out with you all too :)
Many thanks to you Carlos for making the trip and playing a great set. Great track selection and solid mixing; you're going places my friend!! :)
