Okay, after a good pizza, I have given this track a listen, and well I like the idea of remixing a remix.. pretty neat actually ;-) Would like to try my hand at it, but anyway, the track is pretty good.. You might want to check the levels on the main synth because it is somewhat loud in the whole mix oh and cut down the reverb on it a bit and put some panned delay on it and pan the left on the 3rd beat and the right one on the 5th beat and tell me how it sounds ;).. the synth in the breakdown is pretty nice.. very emotional i'd have to say.. brings up something of a classical falvor to me. All in all this is a (somewhat) hardtrance remix of a remix, well done and thought up, just wish there were some vocal samples in it.. TIESTO!!! release an acapella to it u ass! :D

| I was talkin about the Main Supersaw melody.. the one that sounds like Antillas'.. oh btw, it sounds pretty close to what he had.. how did u come bout doing that? |

Oh I see,
I used two VSTis to give shape to that one, plus adding a delay at 5 steps.
The VSTis used were Superwave 8 and LoverKiller, but mainly SuperWave 8.

i'll be honest, i didn't really like it. the main reason is your supersaw lead - the one around 2:40, its just waaaaaaaay too detuned it sounds like crap. theres also way too much reverb on it. also that slidey thing that starts at around 5:00 gets really annoying by 5:15.
keep at it tho man, there are still some bright spots in here. the main melody synth sounds very nice. |
