This is how my family event went in my house while i was in High school.
(i lived with my aunt since i was young, pretty much my "mom")
aunt: "So did you miss us"
Me: (thinking that an odd question in my head) "I don't think so"
aunt: "We were gone"
Me: "Me oh, i just came from school about an hour ago"
Aunt: "We (her and my other cousin) were gone for 4 days in Las Vegas!"
Me: "OH!!! I just thought you guys where in your bedroom the whole time. |

Yes.
I only get to see my immediate family twice a year and my extended family once. Even when I saw them on a more regular basis, the family events were always cool. |

dread them, thankfully I'm in CO now and not IL so I won't have to deal with the extended family.
I only like seeing my brothers, but since they're flying in to CO, no worries there. |

my family events are so-so. for some reason they always ask me why i dont play with my cousins(1 is 16, rest are -12), and i just tell them im not a babysitter, nor am i 10 years old anymore, when i did play with them on their level. not that i hate kids or think im the e or anything, im just not a kid person, i dont look at a 2 year old running his/her ass off all over the place and think how cute he/she is.
my uncles let me drink when my mums not there, theres a lot of salsa dancing, pool, drinking, smoking, loud musik. and its always at this house on biscayne ave. in miami close to 62th st. martin luther king. |

| immediate family is alright. I dread extended family . I hate it. Its so boring and stupid, I just sleep the whole time. |
