Jumping CD's in Windows XP

| I have a problem when I try to play a music CD in my computer. When I use the buttons in the front of the CD drive there is no problem, the CD's sound all good and smooth. But if I try to listen to the CD using a program (any program I have tried: Winamp, WMP, etc), the music sounds like the CD is jumping every 10 seconds, and gets really annoying. Any ideas about this? |

I don't know, I just insert the CD in the drive, open the player software and play the music. And the jumping session begins. I still can hear the music correctly by using the buttons on the drive, so I think it has something to do with codecs or something. |
