A sincere congrats to you!
Hope you already have records - I got my set-up on a Saturday as well and to my dismay none of the record shops around here are open on Sunday. So I got to stare at my tables for a full day and do nothing but grin before I could put records on them. Needless to say though, I skipped work on Monday and went to the record shop to stock up and spent the rest of the day playing.....haven't stopped since either! :D |

| Do 1210M5G's have pitch knobs instead of faders? Seems like they'd be faster... |

| I just ordered a set of mk3's.... can't wait for them! When they come I'd like to upload a mix on this site somehow. My friend has this old Pioneer direct drive with a knob but it's really slow...better to use the spindle and label when playing catch up, usually. |

I like to use the spindle and/or label and the fader at once. Sometimes you're going to have to "stab" it a few times so it will pitch bend momentarly then return to the orginal pitch (or else you'd have to pull it back up or down to the pitch it sounds best at when you're done mixing). It depends on the track. Some tracks are so close you don't really have to "catch up" much. |

| there's really no right or wrong way to do it, as long as you're having fun and it sounds ok |
