RR: What equipment do you use to produce in terms of hardware and software?
T: Well I use QBase .. on the PC actually .. I'm one of the few PC users I guess .. [laughs] ..

Not being a prick or something but those two need to quit LOL-ing every second... and even if they are.. they need to quit typing it. I mean the amount of LOLs in that interview were just infinite. :D

Well considering it was a REAL interview...

I met him and his manager Wilfred in their hotel room prior to the meet and greet at Time. He was really friendly and down to earth and he spoke English very well.

I hope when the guy scripted the interview they were actually laughing and not just saying "lol". Imagine people saying "lol" instead of actually laughing :nervous::wtf:

T: I have somebody that mixes the tracks down. the end mix I don't do much of. I just do the whole production and the sound ,, the sound design and the arrangement of course ... and then it .. sounds great .. but ... not top mix down ... I have a great mixer in Holland. He does the mastering as well .. and after that it sound so [snaps his fingers] .. it makes a big difference.

C-quence
Most of the people (like Rob) don't know the difference between composing, sounddesign, producing and mastering.

I hate to say this, bu please stop your ing stupid comments like:"Uh... he can't do it, bla bla bla."
If you don't like his music, don't listen to it.
If you say you can do it better, show it!

But please shut up with all your lazy comments saying he's bad.
It's soooo simple to do that on the net. And it seems to be a trend.

Should I go to a fan forum of Slipknot and spam the hell out of it with things like:"Buh... they can't make music, because they're using sound engineers off-stage"?
B-U-L-L-S-H-I-T

Sometimes I'm really fed up when reading all those crappy posts.
And I know some more people in the music industry who feel the same.

w3rd. and with how much he plays ITS IMPOSSIBLE to do it all on your own. I posted int he music forum in a thread about this.

Its IMPOSSIBLE for a dj to do it all. Unless you want to do this for your whole life and do in stages and make super slow progress.

funny about the air :p
Rob
Wow, I seem to have hit a nerve with poor little c quence.

You've hit the nail right on the head with that one. I don't know the difference between composing, sound design, producing and mastering. I'm so naive and ignorant in relation to understanding their definitions. Perhaps you could explain which one of those catagories "top mixdown" falls under, unless it's not one of your strong points, and your top mixdown engineer just happens to be lurking around these boards and would care to explain it for me.

Yeah, it is quiet simple to do that on the net, but I'd be more then happy to tell you what I think of your music (or anybody elses music for that matter) face to face. Just like recently when I told one of your countrymans how much I respect him on the basis he does all the processes from loading that first sample to getting the vinly pressed and put onto the shelves (well atleast he claimes to do the majority of it).

I'm sure that anybody in the "music industry" reading your crappy post would feel the same way. I'll tell you what you should do tho: Pull an Airbase and change genres whenever someone vaguely states they have less respect for a producer over an internet message board.

Neither am I(I suck donkey balls), but I would expect someone as religiously adored by c-quence for their claimed producing prowess to be able to make his mixdowns sound -snaps his fingers- great on his own.

Where are the Armin fans when you need them?
