Dejan Milicevic was born in Belgrade and was a member of the infamous Teenage Techno Punks (TTP) along with Marko Nastic, having started dj'ing together at the age of 14.
I have been looking for a set from this guy for over 2 years now.. since I first heard Marko Nastic and read that both Umek & Valentino Kanzyani consider Dejan to be a future dj star... I had only ever heard him play with Nastic.
I don't think he tours much outside eastern europe, aside from the odd gig in south america, probably because he doesn't seem to be producing much.. from what I can tell.
Here's a recent set of his @ Experience in Hungary 10/23/04. It's not overly promolicious and he doesn't scratch or do as many djm tricks as Nastic, but it's a DOPE set!! :D
plays a nice mix of tracks that you can tell made for a good party.
hope to come across more of them!

i caught dejan this summer in montenegro, and he was good, though i'm not a huge fan of techno, so i couldn't appreciate his set too much... he had the rest of the crowd going though...
caught nastic couple of times this summer too, and kanzyani, and umek... they all killed it...
they should make the trek over to North America sometime, i'm sure techno heads over here would love these guys! |

but I think between Valentino Kanzyani, Umek, Nastic or Dejan.. Kanzyani is the one we would most likely see here first. At least I'd hope it would be him and not Umek as much. Nastic & Dejan.. well.. it'd be awesome but I can't see a promoter here booking either of those guys any time soon.
Hopefully next fall when I go to Europe for a bit I can catch a few sets.
Were you at Exitfest? they had a crazy sick lineup this year at that party. |

sweet videos! Now I have a better idea why so many of the djs that get booked @ Exit Fest call it one of their favourite festivals to play anywhere!
here's a random pic from it as well that I came across on the exit fest site.
