well for one thing, i knew it was software...and now i'm happy! I couldn't pin point which synth though, since there are like 5 million soft synths out there. How did I know it was software? well here is my answer...I've used a number of HD synths and have heard many samples of other that I haven't(didn't say I've used em all...but logically speaking, on this board, its not very likely that someone would be using anything other than(no flames please)a virus or a jp8080)....non of which reach that high picthed level without slightely self oscillating and have an imperfect tone....your sound infact had a perfect tone at high resencence levels(the higher notes) and correct me if i'm wrong, but it experienced some aliasing at that point.
Now i didn't mean to piss anyone off saying that all you guys use are jp's and viruses(which are cool synths anyway) but all I meant was that generally thats what you see people using on here aside from soft synths. |

I knew it was VAZ even without hearing the clip, seeing how the poster is Kire, who has a few excellent sound banks for z3ta, and who recently, was experimenting with VAZ Modular in an attempt to create a JP-80x0 Supersaw sound. :D
Too bad I saw this thread too late, otherwise I would have guessed ;)

| it does actually sound alot like a virus patch. when i first listened to it i thought it sounded like a virus but i knew you must have done it with software cuz it wouldnt be that impressive if you just bungled using the hardware. as it stands im impressed :) shame i dont have vaz modular and shame modular synthesis scares me... at least ive got a real virus b eh? :p |
