The year is 2004 almost 2005, everyone in the world with a computer probably has Ripped music and DVD's in the past 12months. Technology is growing that fast also the amount of PC and Fast Internet connection is increasing in the thousdands day by day, next year we will be seeing the new High Definition Blu Ray 50Gb DVD Media and probabily the Recorders, thats right 50Gb on DVD :) and thats in 2005 I could fit my whole PC on one DVD woohoo :) what do these companies think ppl are gonna put on this media (really?), you can fit 711 Albums on 1 50Gb CD, these new DVD's prob come in packs of 10 so 7110 Albums on 10 Disc's and the year will be 2005 maybe early 2006 a basic DVD player costs £30 Pounds now, and prob Blu Ray ones prob £200.00 so work it out if you purchased 7110 Albums say £15.99 each like they are in shops well they were last year would cost you a staggering £113,688.90 in CD costs. Or if these new CD's costs say £29.99 for 10 , then what would you pay £113,688.90 or £29.99. Lol i forgot the RIAA are sueing ppl £1500 per song imagine if you 7110 Albums :).

(These figures are extreme numbers but i am trying to prove a point)

Also !

How far have we come from 2000 ! Cassettes are almost extinct and CD's will be the same To. We will see mobile phones holding upto 1Gb soon like Mini Ipods along with a 5Mb Pixel camera phones which you can buy in Japan now most phones have bluetooth so ppl will be sharing there files wireless'ly.

Im not sure on the Figures on Current Filesharers in the world but I take a rough Guess at a few Hundred Million , calculate that again the amount of ppl actually been sued i mean paid there fines, Id say its something like 0.000000000001%. This statatistic must decrease day by day.

What im trying to say is that 'Music Labels & Movie Companys, probabily will be sueing ppl up the ass prob fines they will never be able to afford or pay off in there lifes, probabily ruining ppls lifes but they are never gonna beat this, compaines like the RIAA focused on more of the other ilegal activitys like ilegal pr0n and internet bank hackers and fraud etc rather than some which pop star who is pissed coz he aint made a 30 million in record sales.

Is there a solution for the future or are we gonna see a massive crumble !

It doesn't mean they shouldn't try to fight the piracy. [/obligatory abiding legal citizen statement]
