Umm... you might be able to import one. I dont know the federal restrictions on right hand drive cars in Canada, and thats the big determinant of whether you can have one or not - that plus safety issues. I know there is a company that converts Nissan Skylines to left hand drive and legalizes them for the US, so it is possible. I just know that Lancers haven't come here yet (besides the ecomony car that replaced the Mirage here this year - NON EVO) because of how the airdam destroys the radiator in a 5mph collision, a big safety no no here. The cost of legalization may also be prohibitive. A new Skyline R34 in Japan costs about 50gs US, but a legal one will set you back about 90gs US. You could go used for the Skylines, so an older Evo could be possible too, just not a mk7. Most likely the only possible Lancer is one of the ghetto US versions we have right now. Is IS economical, but no Evo by a long shot...late/ Good Luck! I wish I had one!

Skylines are dope. A straight six, with twin turbo, and 4 wheel drive...how ca you go wrong?!? They have near unlimited tuning potential too, so if you are into that its a big poss with a Skyline. Personally I would love to have a V-spec II R34 in the US, nobody else has them. Check out www.motorex.net for details, they have used cars too so you could get a skyline for about 30000 US if need be! late/

North American Mistu Evo VIIs will hit the market in the third quarter of 2002.
The front bumper won't meet crash testing standards so the front mounted inetrcooler (with water nozzles) is gone and replaced by a smaller side mounted intercooler.
HP should be in the 260-270hp range. However the Evo has grown considerably in size from the previous installments. Maybe people consider the VII more of a touring car than the Evo VI. However, in North America something is better than nothing.
Price will be directly competitive with the Subaru WRX. MSRP around 26k.
Get in line now,

I hate the North American Lancers! They're so ugly and cheap looking, the Evo is SO much better. I still like the Subaru Impreza WRX over an Evo...
