I have a Cartier watch and a few other cheaper ones.

Shoes I have everything from flip flops to Prada.

I wouldn't say you can judge me by them, though.

Ripped Bag
These are the most comfortable pair of combat boots I have ever worn. They feel like running shoes and even though they're for cold weather I've worn them throughout the summer here in Baghdad and in to the winter. Mine look a lot more worn down and stained but they last and last. They're on the expensive side so I'm lucky I got them issued. If you plan on buying a pair you're going to be shelling out around the high $200s.

This is loaded with features that believe it or not I actually use on a daily basis. I bought this while I was in Germany, and again its fairly expensive. You're going to be shelling out around $300-400 if you want one. For me its well worth the price though considering how often I actually use it for its features. Those that don't hike, or swim, or do a lot of traveling shouldn't really be concerned with getting one of these. For me being in the military and doing what I do its the perfect tool to have though.

What do I wear back home when I'm in civillian clothes?

Well I have a few pairs of Ecco shoes that I can't seem to find a picture of.. and a fossil watch or two..

5ft 11". Quite average actually....

And on an honest point. The everyday Breitling was £1000 when I got it (November 2001), not that expensive for a lifetime watch, which after all is what they are designed to be.

The Navitimer was something I bought with some birthday and I chipped in a bit myself and at £3500 is about the limit I'd pay for a watch.

The Casio is a piece of crap I don't really mind losing!

Some people I know might spend £100 on a good night out they'd have forgotten a week later. Although I have spent a lot of money on watches I don't think I'm going overboard. People really do waste their money on complete tat. Those Breitlings are likely to outlive me if well maintained.

PS. Of course women can answer but I haven't heard the afforementioned phrase in conjunction with a lady ;)
