ok so i can get my hands on a 24 channel studio mixer (FUN)
i wanna hook it up to my computer...what software is good for doing that??
any opinions???

| Using a 24-channel mixer with a pc isn't too useful, as your standard soundcard only has a left out and a right out. So I'd say the software isn't the problem, the hardware is. If you'd like to fill up your channels you could buy a soundcard with multiple outs (like 8 outs....expensive). Then you can assign ( i guess, i don't have such a soundcard) different, say, cubase channels, to different outputs. |

ya...but you do not have to hook it up via the sound card...the Midi-port works too....
so i just need to figure out what good softwear to use... |

oh, it's a midi mixer? that stuff is cool
Works with any midi sequencer like cakewalk, cubase or logic. Guess it works with reason too (?) |
