Look into the Requiem for a Dream soundtrack, and also try the Fight CLub soundtrack by the Dust Brothers. |
he meant samples with voice in them, Requiem and Fight club are two of my favourite soundtracks, but only fight club has on song with vocals in it.
Figh Club would be me favourite |

| hate to say it, but most songs that use movie samples aren't very good...i hope you can pick a good one... |

| Use the samples from Requiem for a Dream when they two women are on the table doing each other and the men are yelling "Cum, Cum!" |

dont use movies everyone knows ..
that'll make for boring samples.
Pick some swedish movies or something foreign where there's a chick yelling I WANT YOU TO DIE or something of that extent and no one will have a clue what's being said. |

| Use a Gil from the Sipmsons sample when he says "but I brought that wall from home" or "Ive been living in that baloon!". Youll blow everyone away. |

I'm currently working on a track with a phrase sample:
It's from the movie the Magdalene sisters, a story about girls getting abused in a catholic covenant in Scotland; very dark story.
Basically at one stage in the movie this girl freaks out on a priest during a church service and yells for like a minute " You're not a man of God, You're not a man of God , You're not a man of God , You're not a man of God ..... " ( the priest raped her ).
How's that for creepy?
I was gonna go for the whole looping thing but I decided to only drop that phrase in the track 2 or 3 times as to not freak out people to much if I ever play this out. :stongue:
to be continued. |

I recommend Ingmar Bergman's Autumn Sonata for some nice screaming scenes in Swedish!
One of the most moving movies. :nervous: |
