pretty cool stuff man, get a couple of counter melodies in there and some midbass to give it a bit more drive and you will be onto a winner, there is a lot of potential here :)

First track we've produced. We used only computers in making this, I can't wait to get into a full studio when I start school in April! That will be wicked, and so will the tracks! :eyes: :eyespop:

I agree this has potential, continue the good work on it, would most likely play it on my show once it is finished.

Well there's not much point me commenting on this since you're busy reworking it, other than to say that I like what I hear and I agree with Luke Terry that it could do with some additional melodies and a bit of mid-range on the bass. You might be onto a winner, so keep at it! ;)

oohh fo shizzle, this track kicks butt, maybe restructure a bit for the final mix, maybe luke is onto something with the bassline comment, otherwise rock steady guys, can't wait to hear it on ETS

[I'm not much into trance these days, I'm more of a prog breaks person, so take my comments with a grain of salt.]
Need a new counter-melody at 2:00.
Could you have some more variation in the percussion? Either a breaks section or perhaps just a few more rolls or stutters during phrase changes?
Breakdown at 4:50 is good. I kinda lost interest in the track as it was breaking down to that point though. Perhaps you should build up the drum and then suddenly drop it out instead of merely fading it out. That would make the breakdown to silence more powerful.
Ah... here we go.... we finally get the percussion variation with the breaks and stereo effects. You need to do a couple rolls or stutters early in the track. Not breaks, nothing major, just a little more variation.
As a DJ, I'd find your outro to be a disaster; that's not very friendly to those of us trying to mix. |
