hi there.i use a vaio mostly because i take it to work to write/ work on music, but i also have a amd desktop at home. Is there a way that i can write/compose on my laptop but when i get home i can link the two together so i can have double the cpu power when using Nuendo/wavelab?? thanks...any info will be appreciated

that would be supper cool to find out cause that would rock for producing. I've heard of g5's linking together for max cpu usage but not pc's- i would love to find this out :)

theres a tool that allows you to set a machine to run certain vstis so that way you can split the load.... however to do this id suggest having gig ethernet setup so that way you dont ahve to worry so much about latency.. i would sometimes stream dvds to differnt computers in my house and id get lagg and that was witha 100mbit switch and decent quality networking cables......

ok so what is this program called? do you know where i could get it?
