Oh don't be baby, to me it doesn't matter who's on the flyer ... it's how well everyone preforms. Next time I book Ray, I'll ask for him to be on the flyer.

Same here.

That's nice (and weird) to see my name on an official flyer :)

It comes to my attention that many of the producers here are affraid of uploading the tracks to ftp. It's upto you if you want this exposure, I made this event for everyone. I promise that the tracks won't be leak to the internet. I'll make DJ Eso to keep everything on CD and once the event is finshed, discard it the CD for just to be safe.

to help producers be a little more secure about your babies... make a promo mix and use it as the one you submit... but before the night happens.... mail a copy of the track on CD to yourself thru canada post and that's how you copyright it.

I really wouldn't worry about copyrighting. I mean, if you've got the original Cubase score/FLS sequence/whatever, and you don't give it to anybody else, you're always going to be able to prove that you made it if that issue ever comes up. But yeah, as Aren said, you can always do the mail trick if you want an "airtight" legal copyright. Just put the track/score on a CD, mail it to yourself through REGISTERED mail, and DO NOT OPEN the envelope when it comes back to you. That last part is key!

Personally I don't think people are afraid of legal issues, they're just chicken- about the idea of having their track listened to critically and/or played in a club. I wouldn't really care if the whole world was downloading a track I made, I'd be flattered. :p But I suppose some people are actually trying to make money from their hobby...

This is going to be wicked!

I can't imagine a better lineup to celebrate my birthday! One of my favourite big-name DJs (Graham) and my best friend, who happens to be my FAVOURITE DJ! (MaxQ) and they are both named MAX!

Woohoo!!

See you all there.

SgtFoo

DJ_Science
