Anyways, Pink Floyd will always be the most talented band ever IMO because their music has passed the test of time. I mean, put on the Drak Side of the Moon or The Wall and it still sounds like no other ing thing you've heard anywhere else.
These guys are PURE talent in terms of songwriting, lyrics, and playing in a live setting. They have it all and no other band has come close to sounding as mature as them. Well, maybe Radiohead with OK Computer...but not even then do they come close to PF.
If someone in this board hasn't heard DSOTM or The Wall...you seriously need to consider yourself a music fan.
BTW, the movie The Wall is also a masterpiece. Beautiful. |

Don't forget about Wish You Were Here, Animals & Meddle. Even Atom Heart Mother & The Piper at the Gates of Dawn have their moments.

The wizard of oz thing works.
My friend is a classic rock addict, and he has a video that actually has the album dubbed to the wizard of oz already, I'm not sure if its legit or not seeing as it was on his computer, but it was pretty cool. |
