THURSDAY DECEMBER 23

This week hosted by LUSHCULTURA.COM

Rotating resident DJ's Fame, K1W1, and Genti are joined each week by different guests to take you on a musical adventure that is perfect to get you warmed up for the weekend.

Kindnick (KindNickProductions.com, LushCultura.com) A practicing musician for 15 years, KindNick has stretched his musical boundaries from playing blues guitar to mixing hard Techno and everything in between. He has traveled from Virginia to New Hampshire laying down numerous tracks for various bands and has performed at such venues as CBGB's, Bat Cave, Elbow room, Down Time and at many other lounges. DJ'ing since 1996 has brought Nick to perform at venues with such artists as Marco Bailey, Christopher Lawrence, Dan Garcia, and many more. It has also earned him spots at Venues like EXIT, Soundfactory, Shelter, Asylum. Each year he continues to develop his knowledge and skills within all of his genres of music. Nick has definitely made his mark in the music world and isn't stopping anytime soon.

Tommy D (Bass Connection, LushCultura.com)

The Rev (SimplyBangin.com, Gotham Grooves)A lifelong disciple of music and a performer since the age of 9, The Rev made the decks his pulpit in 1999. Since then he has maintained an active role in the underground dance music scene in New York. While studying as a student of Music Technology at NYU, he headed their electronic music club, hosting parties and informational sessions. He quickly got involved throwing loft parties and outlaws with the Machinati crew and his own endeavour, Underground Funk Initiative. Today he continues that underground mission as a member of the artist collective Citizens of Utopia. In 2002 he held his first residency at Guernica and began working with Gotham Grooves, where he soon became editor of their newsletter Future Frequencies. The following year he linked up with the Simply Bangin crew, held residency at Liquids, and began a stint working for TopDJGear.

This newly renovated cafe` / lounge has a comfortable and intimate atmosphere which has always proven to give us chilled out nights with good friends and great beats! This event will be held weekly and will showcase some of the top NYC local talent in a small room setting. This means no dress code, no big club drama, no long waits to get in, and NO COVER CHARGE.
