go to radioshack that converts the two audio cords to one that fits in your sound card...put it in the input for your soundcard, and then output to your speakers...get sony soundforge or acid pro or something and record it...convert to mp3, and then cut up the tracks in....well can't think of the program name, someone help me out here...its that simple

how would i do this using virtual dj and the Audiotrak Maya 44 USB? couse my gear is already hooked in the computer.

I do it the long way right now. I record my set using a cd recorder, then rip the cd onto my computer. It's annoying, but it works.

As you know I have a similar setup. To record my mixes I wire the tape output of my mixer to the Line input of my basic soundcard. then I use a little software (not VDJ) to record. Very easy.

why wont virtualdj record this on its options?

You can if you don't use your real mixer(which mixes the sound after it has "left" your pc so it can't be recorded on it unless you bring the audio back to it using the line in of your first audio card. it's the same deal in traktor). just use a little program able to record ( I use AvRack which was by default on my desktop).
the VDJ team has just created a little prog to record vinyls (ripvinyl), maybe if you ask them they will make the same for mixes with real mixer...

wow it's so difficult for me to explain in english, hope you understand !

Have you checked if your amp has a record out or anything similar? if so just plug that into the line in on the computer and go to download.com and you can use one of those free programs if you need

Guys... i agreed with u all

but i have something annoyed me...
I wired up the RCA (White n Red Cable Things) to my sound card... (From My DJM600 to Soundcard)... but problem is i got electric shock when i touched my mixer or even the picth control...?

How can i solve it?? Is it my computer??

Thnx

PS: Dont tell me not to touch the metal part, cause Mixer and the pitch control are M.E.T.A.L! :toothless

Happy Neu Year 2005!!!

He's right. It sounds like you need to ground your mixer. I can't remember seeing a mixer without a place to attach a ground.
